Questions people ask before they register
Who is Financial Planning Education?
Financial Planning Education is a consumer education brand operated by Lead Quiver LLC. We organize and advertise free educational seminars and webinars for people approaching or in retirement, presented by licensed financial professionals in their own communities.
How much does it cost to attend?
Nothing. Every event is free. Some events include a meal; when they do, the presenting professional provides it.
Are you affiliated with the Social Security Administration, Medicare, or any government agency?
No. We are a private company with no connection to any government agency, and no event is sponsored or endorsed by one.
Who presents at the events?
Licensed financial professionals from the area where the event is held — financial advisors, CPAs, and attorneys. They are independent of us and responsible for their own licensing and disclosures.
What does the presenter get out of it?
Presenters pay Financial Planning Education to organize and market their events, and they may meet attendees who later decide to work with them. That fee is never charged to you, and attending never obligates you to meet with the presenter or hire them.
Is there a sales pitch?
The event is an educational presentation. No investments or insurance products are offered for sale at the event. The presenter may invite you to a complimentary follow-up conversation about your own situation — whether to accept is entirely your choice.
What happens to my information when I register?
We use it to hold your seat and send event details and reminders, and we share it with the professional hosting the event you registered for, so they can manage the reservation and follow up. We do not sell it. See our privacy policy for the details.
What if there's no event near me?
New events are added regularly in new cities. Check the events page again soon, or contact us and we'll let you know when one is scheduled nearby.
